Talk about the same old same old…Obama flew over my house tonight on his way to West Point, gave a speech a scant few miles from my home. The big (we already knew it) news was his announcement that he is committing at least 30,000 more troops in Afghanistan to fight a Vietnam style police action that we the American people NO LONGER SUPPORT. He then did a poor job of playing National Cheerleader, attempting to placate people on the left ,and people on the right. He failed miserably, and even worse, seems to have no clue when it comes to what Main Street Americans want, and need.
First, we cannot afford to fight this war. Tens of millions of Americans are out of work, and being told we will likely be out of work for at least another 24-36 months, if not longer. If the Health Care Reform passes the Senate, we will be ordered to get insurance, or pay huge fines…with what Mr. President, we have no jobs, have no money. Nancy Pelosi is talking about a war tax to fund this wrong war in Afghanistan, yet talking little if any about what ails Americans on the home front. Help for everyone around the world, help for corporate America, help for illegal aliens, but no help for those of us here in America, Main Street Americans who are out of work, losing our homes, facing bankrupcy.
Mr. Obama (he does not deserve the title of president) made one truthful comment tonight…without a healthy economy, without jobs for Americans, we cannot afford to fund these wars, cannot afford to pay those who volunteer to serve. In this statement, he handed to Main Street Americans the ability to END THIS WAR…stop enlisting…without troops, Obama cannot fight this war, cannot be a War Hawk. Stop supporting our troops. In volunteering to enlist, they are agreeing with these wrong policies, are a part of the problem, rather than being a part of the solution. The Vietnam War ended when the majority of Americans pulled all of their support…this included the troops. You cannot oppose the War in Iraq, or the War in Afghanistan yet SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! You cannot serve two masters.
Obama tonight committed us, committed America and our pocketbooks to at least three more years of war, and we all know he left himself a huge out to continue the war…CONDITIONS ON THE GROUND. It is suggested here, that the time has come to make CONDITIONS ON THE GROUND here in America so bad that he and Congress can no longer waste our blood and treasure fighting wars we do not support. Counsel your teenagers NOT TO ENLIST…this leaves the Congress no choice but to bring back the draft. Withdraw your support of our troops…re-enlistments right now are at an all time high, which means they support a federal policy that the majority of Americans reject. They feel comfortable with their choice of supporting this wrong war by re-enlisting because we the people SING THEIR PRAISES. Lets end this tail-chasing the dog scenario that allows Obama to maintain the status quo.
The time has come to focus our treasure, and our troops on the home front. Use our troops to secure our Southern Border with Mexico. Use our troops to round-up the 20 million illegal aliens who have invaded our own lands. Use our troops to rebuild crumbling infrastructure here in America, rather than in far off lands. Use our Navy to secure our shipping routes, keeping them safe from the new generation of pirates who inhabit the high seas. Use our Airforce to take out all of Iran’s nuclear abilities through a months long carpet bombing of their known installations, and the nation’s capital.
It’s time to make Americans and America first again. Let us crumble China’s economy…trust me Main Street America, if it says MADE IN CHINA, do not buy it, but instead let it sit on shelves. If that car is not made in America by American owned and operated companies, don’t buy it…lets make Detroit what it USED TOO BE, lets take back America’s Automobile Industry. We stop buying goods made in China, and their demand for cars is going to PLUMMET!
Obama ran as a change candidate, and has FAILED TO DELIVER, so it is time that we FORCE CHANGE through our own actions. Lets start with the war, and our own economy. Stop supporting our troops, and protest in the streets until Obama brings our troops home. Stop buying goods made, produced or grown in China, crash their economy ,and restore our own…the new GLOBAL ECONOMY is not working for Main Street Americans, and will not work for us. Stop our slide into Third World Nation Status by becoming a grass-roots activist as together we stop Washington, DC’s war against the Middle Class.
