Tomorrow Obama will make a rare Sunday appearance before the United States Senate in an attempt to twist arms to force his Health Care Reform bill through the Senate before we the American people wake up to just how bad it really is. There is plenty to hate in this bill, but shall focus in on just one very scary part of the bill…the plan to cut some $500 Billion out of Medicare just as America’s 75 million Baby Boomers are beginning to move into our retirement years, just as we are to find ourselves covered under a Medicare Program that we have ALREADY PAID OUR DUES for. Obama, Senator Reid and Nancy Pelosi want us to believe this bill is in the best interest of America’s long-term, and perhaps long-term it might be. Problem is, is it good for America’s Baby Boomers who have played by the rules, paid our dues for some 40 plus years based upon a promise that when it was our turn, Medicare would be there for us? Is it fair to implement what amounts to a prejudiced age based rationing of Health Care Services in the name of providing a better more financially secure nation for our youth? It is a question that has been at the fore front of thought for a very long time.

Daniel Callahan, author of Setting Limits.in his book proposed that the government refuse to pay for life-extending medical care for individuals beyond the age of 70 or 80, paying only for care aimed at relieving their pain. Perhaps my age contributes to a certain jaded, self-serving interest in this debate, but I see the current Obama Health Care Plan as a recipe for mass Baby Boomer Genocide, the Federal Government deciding to deny myself and seventy-five million fellow older Americans many of the basic services that could save or prolong our lives. I would spit into the face of Mr. Daniel Callahan with his charts, numbers and benefit analysis…we have paid into the system for decades with a promise of collecting in our senior years, and now pencil necks like him want to deny us the benefits we have already paid for? Every paycheck takes money out for our FUTURE CARE, our health needs in our Golden Years, and now Obama and death specialists like Daniel Callahan want to exterminate us because we have become inconvenient to the younger generation.
I reject a policy that devalues our lives based upon our age, a Health Care plan that rations our access to services because we are (supposedly) no longer valuable contributing members of the greater society as it races headlong into the future. The youth have always lifted themselves further up the ladder of attainment and success by standing on the backs of those who preceded them, paved the way for their goals to be attained. Is it then fair to abandon us. throw us to the wolves through a rationing system that ends our life sooner, rather than later? My nation, why does thou seek to abandon me?
Where is the incentive in participating in a Health Care System, and a government that seeks to deny you services just when you need them the most? Sorry, but a Health Care System wanting to transition into a preventive based means of care cannot and must not abandon those who have already paid their dues, must not ration their care, for to do so would make our nation and its leaders far worse villains than even Adolph Hitler ,who visited upon the world the worst Holocaust ever known to mankind, thought about being. The NAZI Holocaust that killed over six million innocent Jews would pale in comparison to a Health Care Reform Plan that prematurely ends the lives of America’s seventy-five million Baby Boomer citizens. Obama Care, the Democratically controlled congress seek to do EXACTLY THAT.
Let us leave no doubt, though labeled in far more politically correct terms, the Obama Health Care Reform Bill does have at its heart Death Panels aimed at ending the lives of those deemed to be Non-Productive Citizens. This journey down the slippery sloop of euthanasia began with the passage of the Stimulus Bill, and was really laser focused with the new recommendations regarding testing for Women’s Breast Cancer, when our government basically declared that the few lives saved did not justify the costs to the overall health care system after a carefully done cost benefit analysis. If there was ever a doubt that the cornerstone of Obama Care was and is rationing, this report eliminated any doubt, and America’s Seventy Five Million Baby Boomers are in the government’s high-powered (and deadly) rifle sights. The question Americans need to ask themselves is, “Who is next?” Our maimed and disabled war veterans who gave their all for their nation but have now outlived their usefulness, who have become to costly to maintain? Perhaps those Americans with disabilities? Afterall, is it cost-effective to spend millions in medical costs to maintain quality of life for just one disabled person, when those funds could improve the lives of millions of healthy American Citizens?
Let us be clear. Obama and the Democratically controlled Congress do want to KILL GRANDMA and GRANDPA, they just do not want to admit that fact. When a cost benefit analysis deems certain procedures and the quality of life gained from them overly expensive, do not justify the costs incurred, lets change PUBLIC PERCEPTIONS of what acceptable health care is and should be. Women don’t need to do self breast examinations, even though 50 percent of the breast cancers found were located through a self-examination. Early (age 40) detection through yearly mammograms only saves two additional lives per 1,000 women so lets eliminate them in the name of saving dollars, and reducing over all costs of providing quality health care. Over 65 and need a hip replacement, or heart surgery…FORGET ABOUT! We will make you comfortable, then let you slowly die in some cold sterile death camp where the sheets are changed on your bed once a day. Sorry, the costs are not justified based on the number of extra years of life such a procedure would get you. Obama’s Health Care Reform will tax you while you are young and healthy, and then abandon you in your old age.
The math of the proposed Medicare Cuts just does not work without significant rationing of our access to basic health care. You cannot add some 50 million people to the Medicare Program while at the same time cutting overhead of the program by HALF A TRILLION DOLLARS over ten years, and that figure grows significantly as you move out from ten years to 20. Say no to Obama’s Baby Boomer Genocide and its Death Panels. Call and write your elected officials NOW, and demand an end to this fool’s folly. Demand accountability, demand that our voices be heard and heeded. It is time that we march to Washington, DC, it is time that we hold sit-ins, taking over every government office necessary to stop this rape of our nation’s Senior Citizens. If we cannot honor and protect our seniors, if we cannot stand up for and defend our parents and grand parents from this butchery, then we cannot be the America we present ourselves to be. End this Health Care Reform Rape of Seniors and Baby Boomers now, or you have blood on your hands, are embracing Obama’s Fourth Reich and the mass extermination of 75 million Baby Boomers.
